Chris Fletcher

Born and raised in a small town in the Adirondacks, Chris’s grandparents were caretakers of a 22,000 acre wilderness play land where Chris spent the majority of his time exploring. His grandparents barn was always home to the numerous critters that would always find their way home for one reason or another. Along with forest animals, dogs, cats, ferrets and raccoons were abundantly found in the Fletcher household.

Chris is and has always been an avid outdoors man, with a love for the environment and an affection for wildlife and domestic animals. His life has always had animals in it, and wouldn’t be complete without his furry friends. Chris has a Masters in Education and Information Systems Technologies and has worked in the corporate sector for many years. Chris still works his technology magic while working with corporations in setting up their online procurement systems as well as managing their successful entertainment business. As CFO of The Strutting Pooch, LLC Chris will be managing the business while sneaking out of the office on occasion to spoil a fur baby or two. Chris is looking forward to helping solve your pet sitting needs, and getting you the most dedicated and experienced pet services team member to your house to care for your pets.

Chris R.

Chris R.

Hi everyone. My name is Chris Rose, and I have had a passion for animals my whole life. Whether it was raising abandon squirrels or volunteering at local animal shelters, I have always been invested in helping our furry friends. I love them so much because they are what really bring out what is good in this world. When I am not taking care of your fur babies I am at home with my two dogs, kitty, and my two daughters.

Ezra

Ezra

The name is Ezra. I have been working with the company for two years now and I have loved every minute of it. I grew up with cats and an array of small animals from hamsters to chinchillas to parakeets. I have been a proud dog owner for the past 12 years and she is my life. I used to work on farms during the summer months and I volunteered at a local grooming salon. I have always loved animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was younger and would read any animal book I could get ahold of. I am currently going to school to work with prosthetics for humans and hopefully one day I’ll get to use my knowledge to help animals affected by poaching, deforestation, and ocean pollution.

Fun Fact: I’m training to be a scuba diver so I can help clean up the ocean during my summer breaks.

I’ve always had a love for animals, I’ve been working for The Strutting Pooch for about 1 1/2 years but I’ve been working with animals on a personal level my whole life, helping out friends and family with taking care of their fur babies. I love animals of all species, no matter what kind of day you’re having you can always count on them to bring you up. They always listen, and their unconditional love is truly magical. Our furry friends are so eternally grateful for us taking care of them and I find so much joy in spreading the love and care. At home I take care of 2 dogs (Kato & Mia) , 2 cats (Tye & Molly) , a leopard gecko (Tiberius) , a dwarf hamster (Muffin) and a beta fish (Jerry Garcia) Aside from taking care and loving up my babies at home I love to paint on my free time and attend as many live music events as possible. I also love to cook and bake when I can and spend time with family and friends making memories to last forever.

Stephen

Hi there! My love of animals did start a little later in life than others, but really grew when I did some work with sea turtles in Mexico during college. Though my degree of environmental conservation was plant focused, my experience traveling and eventually getting my own rescue has made me really excited about working with pets in general. Though I mostly do overnights for now due to limited availability, I love every moment of it. Your pets are loved and cared for like they’re my own when they’re with me. Can’t wait to meet you!

Tziona

Tziona

Hi, My name is Tziona Rose, and I think animals are the best. I grew up surrounded by animals spending summers helping on my family’s horse farm. I have a great passion for our furry friends and love volunteering at local animal shelters. I love animals because I think they are what brings out the best in us, I know mine do! When I am not sitting or helping out with managing our sitting schedule, I am walking the streets of Saratoga with my fur babies, and my two daughters.

Maegan

Maegan

My name is Maegan and I am one of the boarding facilities for the Strutting Pooch! I have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember. I have cared for various animals, not giving my parents a choice and just bringing an animal that needed a home….home. A mouse from science class, chickens from the store and even puppies out of a box at an auction. I have cared for and watched dogs and pets for over 15 years now. I have studied dog behaviors, and taken training courses as well as pet first aid. After rescuing my Frenchie, I started my own business making bow ties, bandannas, toys and all natural treats for dogs. Thru this business I found Sylvia and The Strutting Pooch. I am so happy I did and can’t wait to meet your fur children!

Jonathan

Jonathan

I am so happy to have found The Strutting Pooch and can’t wait to help take care of your babies and give you peace of mind that they are being well cared for.

Beth

Hello! My name is Beth. Growing up my mother had multiple dogs and cats throughout my entire childhood which naturally allowed me to be around and love animals my entire life. I myself have had two English Bulldogs in the past that were extremely loved! I love animals because of the relationships you can build with them. Working with the Strutting Pooch allows me to meet all of your pets and create deep bonds and relationships visit after visit! I’m also a mother of two boys!

Ekaterina

Ekaterina

Hi there! People call me Kat! I’ve had all types of pets growing up big and small. My love for animals started at the age of 9 when I got my very own bunny named Lilly for my birthday. Since then I’ve had guinea pigs, hamsters, kitties, and pups. I was also the go to pet sitter for my family members 🙂 My grooming career started because it was the happy medium between art and pet care. I have been doing it for several years now. Art is my other love besides animals. I have painted many pet portraits for my family members. Can’t wait to meet your loving pets!

Virginia

Virginia

I’ve always been animal lover since a very young age. I was always the one that brought home the strays and hurt animals. I wanted to become a vet but things didn’t go that way for me so instead I took up hair dressing while in school. I travel to different homes making the residents look and feel great after getting their hair done. I’ve had animals where I have nursed them back to health and that experience is great. I have a hobby farm that I enjoy every day when I’m not working. I have goats, chickens, mini horse, mini donkey and also peacocks. That’s just outside I also have my inside animals that consist of dogs, a cat, geckos, black and white Argentine tegu and I also have a Brazilian short tail opossum. I’m doing dog boarding and daycare so families can feel relaxed while on vacation and knowing their beloved pet is in good hands at my hideaway. My animals are like my children and that’s how yours will be treated as well. I take pride in everything I do. I figure I have 15 acres why not use it. I like to walk and hike and just sit and relax and listen to the noises of my farm.
